Bubbly Limos were asked to supply their award winning Blue Crush Limousine for Top Gear's last show of 2007, Ultra Stretch Limo. Arriving at the Top Gear studio, having cleared security, we drove the Blue Crush on to the infamous Top Gear race circuit. We had in our sights the Stig, sat inside the Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 at the start line. We raced past him leaving him in our dust, the Shelby was no match for the awesome Bubbly Limos Blue Crush.
When we arrived at the studio, we were horrified at what we saw; the "Dynamic Trio", Clarkson, Hammond and May had built limos to drive celebrities to the Brit Awards 2007.
Clarkson had bought a Fiat Panda, Hammond a convertible MG and May had both a Saab and an Alfa Romeo.
Clarkson's Panda limo, hindered by its length made it nearly impossible to manoeuvre around London's roads and split in half where Clarkson had shortened the car to make it road-legal. With half a car, and spirits not damped, Clarkson's limo arrived at the Brits with BBC Radio 1's Chris Moyles.
Hammond's MG convertible stretched limo, got Jamelia to the Brit award, however, I am guessing not in the style she is accustomed to.
May's conjoined limo did not have a clue where it was going, just like the driver! Running an hour late, a frustrated Lemar baled out of the weird limo. Obviously, Bubbly Limo's should have loaned Lemar one of our chauffeurs.
