Thousands enjoy show's bling bling
The Bucks Free Press Motor show was firing
on all cylinders at the weekend attracting more than 9,000
people to The Rye.
The sunshine had visitors flocking to browse around the 30-plus stalls and even attracted a newly wed couple still in full wedding attire to wander around the gleaming models on show.
After tying the knot at Wycombe Register Office Darren Vaughn and Louise Hogg got a special wedding cars, and Aston Martin DB9.
Stratstone Aston Martin, from Amersham, had another two other exclusive models on display and sponsored the show along with the Free Press.
Nobody missed Bubbly Limos Stretch limo when it rolled on
to the Chrysler stand on Sunday sporting vertical opening
front doors and a leather interior; complete with strobe
lights. Bubbly Limos based in High Wycombe, said:
"I have been in the limo trade for over six years and
the reason why I have done this is because I got fed up
of bog standard limos. People want glitz, glamour and bling
bling."
While there was plenty on offer for mums and dads, younger drivers had fun by getting behind the wheel of the bumper cars and having their faces painted.
Joss Hindmarsh, who went down with her children James, six, and Charlotte nine, said: "I think it's a really good little event. It's a good idea for the car people to get out rather than expect us to come to them. We've had good fun."
One lucky visitor from Slough won a brand new Toyota Aygo,
while Jenni Skidmore from Amersham won a Seat Leon for a
weekend.
The volunteers at the Bucks Road Safety stall got people to test their driving knowledge with a quiz, but some found the questions hard.
